4th of July train ride at Stow Park....he's so big!

Blueberry picking at the Ranch we use to live at with Brayden's best buddy Chloe:

A little afternoon swim in our backyard

It's been a rough few weeks...we all got sick, Maddie is cutting three teeth, had a bout of roseola, and she broke her femur falling off the bed. But the good news is we get to head to Bass Lake with my parents tomorrow. AAHHHH....nothing like a week at the lake to vacation and play. It's so fun to bring Brayden to a place where I have so many memories. I haven't been back since Matt died but I finally feel ready. Ready to enjoy what he loved with more joy than sadness.
Eric and I will celebrate 7 years since our engagement that happened on the lake where we then went back to our campsite and celebrated with Matt and Steph. Good memories. Lots has happened in 7 years...not all easy. Thankful that this man is still married to me. It hasn't been easy learning to parent two and still 'feel' married. Here's a photo from my 30th birthday where my husband took me and a bunch of friends out on a boat in the harbor for a sunset sail and made homemade flourless chocolate cupcakes for everyone...I love him!
